Voting Results, Stock Pitches and Portfolio Update
Last week an independent investor pitched to buy Wal-Mart at a limit of $57 the vote passed 44-12
In addition, it was proposed that $15,000 of the excess cash be placed in two low volatility high volume income producing ETFs. The vote passed 53-3 and it was decided to purchase HEX.TO and HEJ.TO. The positions have yet to be added to the portfolio because analysis of the historical price performance suggests a slight decline prior to the ex-dividend date. The positions will be added to the portfolio regardless by January 25th in order to ensure the dividend is obtained.
