2012/2013 Board of Directors

Ralph Conforti (Chairman)

Ralph is currently employed at GE Capital in the Risk Management Rotation Program. Ralph graduated from McMaster in 2012 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Finance and minoring in economics.  During his time at McMaster, Ralph was heavily involved in the school community. Ralph undertook positions as a Community Advisor and Welcome Week Rep for Bates Hall, worked as a Coordinator in the Allan H. Gould Trading Floor and was a Teaching Assistant for Commerce 1E03. Ralph’s greatest accomplishments were as the CEO of the Mac Investment Club for the 2011/2012 year. In his second year on the MACIC executive team, Ralph and his executive team were able to bring the Club back to its roots of“education through action” while increasing the Clubs relationships on Bay Street. Ralph has completed his Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook and Derivative Fundamentals Option Licensing course, Ralph is studying to write CFA level 1 in December. Ralph has also spent time as a Research Assistant for Dr. Anna Danielova, Research Associate for MacNicol and Associates Asset Management in Toronto and an Accounts Payable Clerk at MacDonald, Dettwiller and Associates. In his position as Strategic Advisor to the CEO, Ralph hopes to build upon the Clubs brand exposure and provide guidance to the CEO and Executive team.
